Privacy Policy

Effective: July 17, 2026 · Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rashid Mohamad (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Connect+ game and this website (together, the “Service”). We built Connect+ to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, and your gameplay is stored on your own device.

In short: No sign-in. Your progress and settings are saved only on your device. The one third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the optional reward ads. Because Connect+ is suitable for children, ads are requested as non-personalized and the app is treated as child-directed.

1. Information stored on your device

Connect+ saves the following locally (using standard on-device storage) so it can resume where you left off. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

  • Your current board, score, and hint count;
  • Your best score, highest tile, and longest-swipe records;
  • Your settings (theme, tile colors, sound on/off).

You can erase it any time by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app (see our Data Deletion page).

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information about you. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or precise location, and we do not maintain user accounts. Our website is static and does not set tracking cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game hints, delivered by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may process limited technical data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information — for example to limit ad frequency and prevent fraud.

  • Ads are requested as non-personalized (not based on a user profile).
  • Where required, a consent choice is presented (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) before any ad is requested.
  • Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

See our App Ads Disclosure for more.

4. Analytics & crash reporting

Connect+ currently does not use any analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services. If we add such tools in the future (for example, privacy-respecting analytics or crash diagnostics to improve stability), we will update this policy first and, where required, route them through the same consent step described above. Any such data would be limited to app performance and usage, not personal identification.

5. Children’s privacy

Connect+ is suitable for a general audience including children (ages 10+). We comply with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children (GDPR-K), and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; ad requests are tagged as child-directed and non-personalized. See our dedicated Children’s Privacy page.

6. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent (for ad-related processing where consent is required); and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service in a way that does not override your rights. For users under the age of consent, ads are limited to non-personalized.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, to object, and to data portability. Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, the practical way to remove all app data is to clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. For ad-related data held by Google, you can use your device’s ad settings or exercise rights directly with Google.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not collect the categories of personal information that would require a consumer request to us. You may still contact us with any questions.

8. Retention & security

On-device data persists until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Data processed by Google for advertising is retained under Google’s policies. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the low-sensitivity nature of the data we handle.

9. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Questions? Email rashid2538@gmail.com, or see our Contact page.
