Children’s Privacy

Connect+ is designed to be safe for a general audience, including children aged 10 and over. This page summarizes how we protect children’s privacy. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Our commitments

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  • There are no sign-ups, logins with personal details, or chat.
  • Gameplay and settings are stored only on the child’s device.
  • The optional global leaderboard is off until a player chooses to join. If joined, it uses an anonymous ID, a nickname, and game scores — never a real name or any personal detail. The nickname is random by default (e.g. “SwiftFox-482”); a player may set a custom one, which is length-limited and screened by a profanity filter, and the app explicitly asks players not to use their real name. To further protect children, other players' names are shown partially masked (e.g. “Br***95”) — a child only ever sees their own name in full. Report anything inappropriate and we’ll remove it.
  • All ad requests are tagged as child-directed and for users under the age of consent, and are non-personalized.
  • A privacy-consent step runs, where required, before any ad is requested.
  • We do not build advertising profiles of users or use the app for behavioral targeting.

Applicable laws

We aim to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children (GDPR-K), and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (“Children’s Code”).

For parents and guardians

We don’t collect personal information, so there is generally nothing personal for us to delete on a server. To remove all on-device data, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app (see Data Deletion). If your child joined the leaderboard, its only data is an anonymous ID, a random nickname, and scores — email us and we’ll delete that entry. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, or you have any concern, contact us at rashid2538@gmail.com and we will address it promptly.
